Role Overview

This pivotal role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the success of Access Education Group by delivering high-quality teaching and academic leadership. As a Senior Lecturer, you will play a key part in curriculum development, student support, and academic research, ensuring that our educational provision remains outstanding and responsive to learners’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lectures and tutorials to diverse student groups, utilising a range of teaching methods and technologies.
• Lead curriculum design and development to ensure courses are current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
• Support and mentor students, providing academic advice and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to academic research, scholarship, and continuous professional development activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching quality, assessment practices, and programme delivery.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and quality assurance processes.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including employers and professional bodies, to maintain strong industry links.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant postgraduate qualification (Master’s degree or higher) in your subject area.
• Significant teaching experience within further or higher education, ideally including curriculum development and assessment design.
• Proven ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of academic research or professional practice relevant to the subject area is desirable.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and educational innovation.
